    Is there a facetracking setup for this avatar? Or will I have to manually decapitate the model in blender and swap it for the facetracked hyenid.

    alextheaussie, trust me if you follow the directions exactly, it won't break. I managed to do it. You may need to try more than once, you gotta put it in a new unity project, brand new, I didnt use VCC.

    The avatar file size is too big for it to be uploaded and usable in Quest... real shame... but for non vr it can be uploaded just fine...

    Maximus The Fluffy Protogen, i deeply apologize my knowledge on error codes is extremely limited and i mostly figured out the issue i was experiencing through trial and error. i dont know how i could help with this without a reference pic or actively watching it happen. best option i can provide despite it being rather tedious and again i apologise for my inability to help but i find it helps creating a new project and making a duplicate of the thighyeen fbx to drag into that project. from there youd only need to add the physbone where needed using your previous original thighyeen project for reference and if you want the clothing the just dupliccate and repeat process. its not the only option but i think its a decent one that should free you of the error code you mentioned.Blover, ah, upload as in setting up the project entirely or uploading it as in making sure it uploaded to your account, uploading the avi is the easier part of the process, setting up though is the annoying part. are you exepriencing any error codes? if you are then i dont truly know how to help cause i suck a error codes. mostly i just drag an fbx of the avi into the project and just copy everything over id want to keep on it and hit the build an publisj button once the sdk stops screaming at me

    For Anyone that is using and may use this model in the future. i have a discovered a simple fix for the "Quaternion To Matrix conversion failed because input Quaternion is invalid" that spams the console. simply go into the avatar armature and remove the physbone from Foot.L i have tested this in unity without CC and again in CC and both times removing that specific physbone component stops the errors completely. this fix is for the current version of the model uploaded here. so if it doesnt get uploaded for a good long while i reiterate that removing the physbone component in the left foo labeled Foot.L is the physbone you need to remove/fix to remove the error spam. hopefully this helps

    It has an older version of the VRCSDK in the package, make sure you do not import that or delete it.

    Alright, so after doing some edits and whatnot I figured that I share this to people who'd like to edit this with the latest SDK.

    Basically, what you want to do is delete every unused asset inside the unitypackage. You can find out what is/isnt used by right-clicking a material/object/etc and clicking "Find in Scene". After deleting all the stuff not ref'd in the scene, drag and drop the avi from the hierarchy to the hyenid folder in assets and save your scene. After you do that, right click and export as package. Dont include any dependencies except for crystal shader (AKA dont export poiyomi, raliv, the VRCSDK, or any plugins).

    When you're finished exporting, make a new CreatorCompanion project. Import Poiyomi Pro 8.1.112+ and Raliv's DPS. After that, import the unitypackage you exported and open the scene. If everything worked right, it should just work in the latest SDK.

    Im having an issue it says I need A Vrc avatar discriptor but i already have the sdk and when i looked it up it says to click on the model and add it but everytime i try it takes me to windows paint... plz help

    I can understand a lot of people are confused, allow me to fix it up. Do not use Creator Companion app, this messes with the SDK files that is included with the package.

    All you have to do is
    1. load up unity hub
    2. launch 2019.4.31f1 (The one I used and it worked)
    3. Download (if you haven't already) the Thighyeenid Model then import it to your project
    4. Upload like usual
    5. Go jackoff XD (Not a real step)

    I tried using CC (Creator Companion) and it just kept having problems, I did test it with the steps above and it seemed to port perfectly with everything seeming to work.

    If there are any problems then there maybe some other issue, I just recommend you make sure you are using the right version of Unity, I hope that helps, best of luck!

    All you have to do is make a project in unity hub, import the unitypackage, and open the scene in the assets folder.

    If you mean making it less broken when upgrading the project through creator companion, good fuckin luck with that. I have no clue how the model doesn't work in creator companion. First, all the toggles for the clothing broke (mainly cause I added a scaler with WD disabled), but after removing the scaler, the model would fold in on itself and float in the air whether you were desktop, half body, or full body.

    If anyone finds out how to upgrade it without destroying everything on the model, please let us know.

    Why wouldn't you make a separate upload of just the base? Its impossible to work with this as there's so much stuff plastered onto the avatar. I just wanted bigger boobs not 20000 thousand clothing assets and shaders.

    Alright, after digging around the files and shit, I found some tips people might want

    1. If you want to optimize the avatar, shrink the textures in "All Textures" from 8192/4096 to 2048 (lower if its just a black texture/mask with little to nothing.) Some textures like color grads can be 1024 and normal maps that aren't complicated can be shrunk to 512 without losing their effect. This shrinks the upload file size by 30MB and the texture memory by 100MB (You can get more if you just shrink every texture to 2048, normal to 1024, and grad/text to 512).

    2. The avatar has mixed write defaults. Its mainly empty animations, but you'll still want to enable WD on them.

    3. There's 2 unused skin textures: A tiger and what seemed to be a pink tiger. You can dupe a pre-existing material for the body, throw the texture on there, and make a toggle for it (dupe the pre-existing skin swap anims and edit them).

    4. You can save on avatar memory by simply removing the avatar scaler params, the mac10 params, and the comm info params. Also gotta remove them from the animator.

    5. There's some unused/unfitted stuff in the project that you can add to the model if you wanted to.

    NehzaIgnis, if you want to upload this, you do need creator companion. The upload button would be available with the SDK that can only now be used with creator companion and nothing else

    I had no issues uploading this to PC or Quest. Just gotta know what you're doing when you upload. I'm not exactly sure why everyone is having trouble with it, because I didn't do anything different from how you're normally supposed to upload models.

    Btw, I got it to upload for Quest by decimating some of the clothes models in Blender (for people not model savvy, that does not mean deleting them) and compressing all of the textures (without sacrificing quality) and I got the filesize just barely under 10MB. A little bit of advice if you want to upload for Quest: delete all parts for DPS and sounds; none of those things are compatible with Quest and it ups the filesize by quite a bit. Just gotta think about how to do things another way if you're having trouble with it. I wish you all luck in your endeavors...

    I dont understand this at all, desc just says to import and upload. yet when i do like nothing is correct on it. lookin at the models its all jumbled to hell, and when i uploaded it doesnt have shit and it just looks the same as it did in unity. and the vrc menus n shit are all basic. no dps toggles, gogo, or anything. ive fiddled around and got gogo working. but nothing else. if anyone actually has concrete advice that makes it work please let me know. im runnin in circles here
