Mattbogdinho, Yes, you have to go through the armature in the heirarchy and manually delete bones and colliders till it fits. I dont use quest, so im not sure of a different way other than removing manually.
If you really wanted to, run it through the easy quest switch thing?

Why does the test succeed but the upload fail?
'Application error'
SDK 3.4.2 on 2019.4.31 and SDK 3.5 on 2022.3.6 both fail.

CryptidQrow, dont have the size as the issue now. Just the physbones errors. And it wont let me upload for quest because of it. Im on unity 2022 if thats a a potential reason why.
This is what it says:
Phys Bone Collision Check Count: 951 (Maximum 64, Recommended: 0) This avatar has too many VRCPhysBoneColliders. All PhysBone Colliders will be removed at runtime.

It only errors for physbones and phys colliders once imported under android build. In unity, its only 11mb. Since quest is 10mb youll have to shave some down a little. But its not bad or hard to do.
