Terms of Service further down!
Demo public poiyomi version in VRChat
Demo public sylva shader version in VRChat
This package includes as of Version 1.0:
- UnityPackage for the Slipfin Alien Avatar - crashland and settle anywhere with this creature-shaped friend!
- Blender file of the avatar.
- Substance Painter (2022) file for the textures used in the preset versions.
- Readmes with Blender export settings, shaders used, and where to get them (Poiyomi Toon 8.x and the Furality Sylva Shader)
- Small concept art pack with species lore and sketches!
- This project includes and uses the Furality Sylva Shader by Furality, Inc. (https://furality.org) with permission.
- Readme with general info about setup.
Super easy setup, with the included readme:
1) Create an empty avatar project
2) Import Poiyomi and Sylva Shader and VRCFury (links to Creator Companion repositories provided in readme).
3) Import the Slipfin Alien unitypackage and doubleclick the Slipfin Scene in the scenes folder - you're ready to upload!
4) Log into the VRChat SDK, in the top dropdown, select the chosen avatar version, fill in your info, and hit publish at the bottom!
This avatar is set up with and requires VRCFury - a Creator Companion add-on - for gestures and toggles to work. You can add it to your VRC Creator Companion here
This tool lets you easily set up gestures, toggles and has a bunch of other useful features. It is entirely non-destructive, as it only adds its components on build/play.
KNOWN ISSUE: Due to a Unity Bug, rearranging gestures in the VRCFury Gestures Script can crash Unity to desktop. The fix is to add new VRCFury Gesture Manager scripts, each with a single gesture, and arranging those instead. I will try and do this for the release version in a future update!
Avatar features:
- FBT ready!
- 32008 Tris
- 8 Physbone Scripts for expressive Tail, Toe, Armfin, Ear and Tongue physics!
- 5 blendshapes for modifying the look of the fins!
- Good VRC performance rating - optimized to sub 30mb texture memory & sub 5mb download size!
- VRCFury gesture controller and toggles with tail puppet!.
- Tail Size Slider - you like big tails, right?
- Hue/Saturation/Brightness sliders on Poiyomi version, so you can upload right away and customize in game!
- Snout Universal Collider - you can push other people's physbones or world objects with your nose (VRCFury script).
- Floor, leg and body colliders for your tail, floor collider for your feet (togglable)
- 2 versions, with Poiyomi and Sylva Shader material presets respectively! The Poiyomi version has hue, saturation and brightness sliders set up, but those properties cannot be animated on the Sylva shader. You can, however, manually hue shift the texture files themselves and add them back into the material.
- Unity 2022 project.
- Safe for work!
- Requires no paid third-party assets!
