Skye Cane, It's that exact mentality is why we have so many awful, unoptimized avis in this game, not putting any scrutiny on things that are poorly made is what encourages people to make something shitty. I don't have anything against furries, especially considering I myself am one, and have made furry models in the past. The issue primarily lies with how fuckin weird these avis are and the fact that they are poorly made that bothers me. On a somewhat related note, I have seen far too many times a FNIA avatar user running around completely nude around kids. It feels like those kinds of people gravitate towards these avis because they're weirdos. Yet again, there's a reason stigmas against obesity exists. There's no two ways about it, Obesity is an issue and should be discouraged. Its unhealthy for you so why do people like normalizing it? Now I'm not saying that people should be bullied for being overweight, but the whole body positivity thing is stupid. Do what you want with it, but that's not going to stop me from pointing out the obvious, that being that these avatars are poorly made and that people need to stop making them.

--Xenon--, I mean again it's their choice. What they upload won't affect me. I have most avatars hidden aside from trusted and my friends, so if it's unoptimized being the issue I won't lag. As for their fetish, we all have things we like. If someone likes to be spanked, or if someone wants to wear a huuuuuge avatar shaped like a shark, it's their choice to do what they will. Life is too short for us to worry about our lives and all of the other ones around us. Sometimes it's fun to be conventionally unattractive, most of these naked avatars though are worn privately for obvious reasons (nudity and huge genitals.) Also I never said that there isn't a reason, but I don't think it's just because it's conventionally unattractive, but also the stigma behind two things: obesity and furries. TBH though, it's not just me giving them air, it seems like from your comments, you have also commented on other chubby furries. It kind of seems like a vendetta on your end.

Skye Cane, I can respect how you go about with these types of models, but shouldn't it be desirable to have the highest quality, well optimized avatar you can find? I don't understand why people lower their standards so much. Not to mention the very poorly disguised fetish avis that exist. It's tiring, there's hardly anything that looks objectively good or well built anymore. As I mentioned earlier there's a reason that people hate on these things. They're objectively ugly. There are dozens of better alternatives that exist that I encourage you to check out instead of giving terrible builds like this air. Unless you made this yourself (which you made very clear that you didn't) why would you be proud to use something so low quality. I really, really hope that whoever made this is still a noob at modeling because this is bad.

--Xenon--, I didn't upload it. If you check my profile I tend to either go with female human avatars or twink male avatars. It doesn't honestly bug me. What I consider ugly, they might not, same way what they consider ugly I might not. Sure your choice of quality might fit your standards, but some people like simplistic or poorly built avatars. Sometimes I download simplistic weirdly shaped avatars simply to test shaders or work on my texturing skills. I truly don't think it's that big of a deal in the long run... after all it's free avatars, it won't hurt anyone's bank.

PS: The only reason I even commented on it is because people do it for every thick/futa furry avatar. It's a huge given on this website. People just hate big avatars in general.

But you could've picked ANY other shark model. This one is so god damned ugly I will never understand why people make this and more importantly why people want this. Ghostly or VonVidianov have infinitely better models and those models also have a lot more going for them in terms of clothing.

It's not my account they're uploading it to, and my nose isn't big enough to stick into other people's business. it's not my business, or yours, to insult people's choice of avatars. They can wear whatever, whenever they want, just like we can. Them wearing an avatar from here won't affect you or me, in fact I doubt you or I will ever see them. It's kind of the idea though, the whole size thing, it's not meant to be realistically human, because it's not a human, it's a mystical shark that walks on two legs.

There's a reason that people are making "Ew gross" comments, this thing is hideous. I will never understand why people like you find something like this attractive. it's face looks like a god damn shoe. Not to mention the proportions are a crime against the image of a woman, of any shape mind you. The polygons look super inconsistent, the feet getting most of them and the shoulders getting none. Tells you exactly what kind of audience this is for. Even when standing up straight it looks like it has weight painting issues on the pelvis. God forbid you sit down. And that's not even bringing up the stupid ass paint job. Yet another monstrosity to add to the pile of awful avatars that plague this website.
