I simply just want to see alot more variety that doesn't slut out the avatar with no option to have clothes to cover up areas that you would see with toggles which some avatars currently do, my issue is that it seems like now the high quality avatars are all sexualized with hardly any of them having clothes and instead are effortlessly worked on in the face,hair,eyes,and such for the head and then they decide to pick a slutty outfit for the avatar with low effort instead of having 2 options and i wouldn't have a issue with this as much if it weren't for avatars such as this one listed that we are commenting on because as you can clearly see they just threw on a pair of jean shorts that are so out of place of how the rest of the character looks and it's the perfect example of what i'm trying to discuss and bring to ppls attention. The outfit chosen honestly isn't bad for someone who just wants to private with friends and such i think that's fine but it's quite disappointing for ppl who really enjoy alot about an avatar such as this one with it's body edits and face edits and yet the outfit is so far gone with being sexualized it's useless for using in public when wanting to meet new ppl. In my eyes it's just very lazy and i'm calling these avatar creators out on it because ik what their potential is and ik what they can do but they refuse to do it because people who defend this relentlessly are causing avatars to drop to this standard making it more of the same rather than unique and decent enough to wear anywhere.

reeruby, Its actually kinda funny I only have the one peek avi and I paid for her because she was unique her paws where really well faded into the skin unlike a lot of creators that just cut and she had a cute and modest style but as time goes on peek's avi's just feel like they are changing out of the style that made people love her avi's.

reeruby, avi creators like these wouldnt keep making their avatars like this if no one was buying them. so telling them to "put more effort" into their models just so you can wear them would be unreasonable. they make what they want to make and its up to people to buy them. if what theyre doing works, theres not really much reason to deviate from the formula. now if you find a model you like a lot but hate the clothing, at that point it really is in fact your responsibility to learn to either head swap to a different body with more modest clothing options, or make the clothing assets you want to see yourself. because it seems to be a bit patronizing when some random tells you, "put more effort into your model and outfit choices so i can wear it comfortably".

i love nsfw avatars as much as anyone else but the simple point i'm trying to make is that it really sucks when there are so many really well thought out avatars that have great face edits,colors and hair for the head but when it comes to outfiting the avatar they only tend to sexualize it without any options to wear normal jeans,pajamas,shorts,open shoulder tops etc. the problem really lies within the fact that all the avatars i find that include said outfits are all mid and suck at nsfw outfits meanwhile the nsfw models suck at the opposite and i just wish avatar creators would put more time and effort into it than throwing clothes on the avatar and calling it a day when they really have something special that they've worked on with the head/body.

Lilium817, i have no issue with people using nsfw avatars that isn't what i'm saying nor do i have a problem with it i just want to be able to use an avatar that looks good in the face that doesn't sexualize the body so i can use it in public when meeting people because it's odd to just have my body objectified by the outfit the avatar is wearing, and as state earlier in the comments it also leads to being harassed sometimes which is something i want to avoid all together.

I think it mostly comes down to wording its really hard for a blunt person to not call a rock a rock so it can come out as an attack if you state "Lack of decency, sexualised and pole stripper" when talking about "revealing avis"
Unfortunately theres no real outlet for negative banter on avi's other than here, I would love to see a website that listed avi's and creators with a comment section where people could just go ham, talk about the lack of creativity, talk about the clipping issues or that it is/is not worth the price, talk about the drama and maybe even share edits that are just better than the OG avi

Thats why I stated editing on unity but even after years of that I still can't get into blender so I just pick avi's that are ok ish with clothes and edit them to be a bit better

Humans are inherently sexual and when you enter a platform that lets you be anything you want with no restriction it should come at absolutely no surprise that people choose to exaggerate their expressions of gender. If you actually care that much then go and learn to do it yourself.

Shizumi, the point i'm making is i constantly look for different avatars because of this issue as said but it's so difficult to find one that has a high quality well thought out head, hair, face, eyes, and a proper selection of outfit toggles without sexualizing the avatar. Waste of effort imo when there's so many of these avatars that look so good but have their dignity ruined because they decided not to put as much effort into the selection of clothes and just adds toggles to strip down from an already provocative outfit to make it seem like it adds value to the avatar when it doesn't
