For those wondering the Face Tracking does indeed work you just have to rename the mesh model from "Hazel" to "Body" it took me 3 hours of troubleshooting to figure out it was that simple of a fix hope this helps anyone in the future.

CursedLamia, I think it's more about preference rather a need for it, at least that's the way I see it. Someone said something along the lines of "If they can't afford a 40 dollar avatar, then they can't afford substance painter" which means the people asking for it, including me, pirated it. I don't think the person who posted this even had the files anyway, cause why would they post only the unity package and not the blend files, afdesign files, or the psds, so I think they got the package from someone else and then posted it on here.

Some people on this website seem to have this weird take of "I don't like adobe, therefore I'm not going to distribute the SPP files" but it's like, no one on here likes adobe as a company either, that's why we pirate their software, yet you seem to be fine distributing VRChat avatars. It doesn't really make sense to try and have a moral high ground when you're pirating shit from small creators.

I described Blenders terrible learning curve, unfriendliness to new users, overcomplexity for little reason, etc. You brushed it off as "Preferences and wants", etc. And I don't care if you specify other options, I just don't care to go through the pain of learning an entirely new program from scratch because someone didn't do a few left and right clicks to bundle stuff, or just admit they didn't have the .SPP file in the first place. What annoys me is your holier than thou attituide towards the subject, I believe in it's whole blender is a great program, but as I said earlier it has it's own big issues. And a paid program made to do only one specific thing rather than a multitude such as animation, rendering, 3d modeling, and a touch of painting etc, is obviously going to perform better in that aspect.

SneakyPotato, It's like a multitool, yeah it's got pliers, a screwdriver, and a knife, etc. But obviously a pair of normal pliers, a regular knife, a regular screwdriver, are all going to perform better at the respective tasks they were designed specifically for.

SneakyPotato, So why act like you're better than others simply because you prefer to use that multitool for the specific task being talked about, rather than something made specifically for it? Also on a very random note, I'm eating some good ass pasta dish thing, if you see the brand Micheal Angelos in the frozen foods area give their stuff a try, this is the best shit I've ever tasted.

Drag and drop fbx file into blender. done!

Open png texture in any art program, learn where things go. done!

Paint it, in blender, using the texture tab. done!

You got yourself a fully custom texture, depending on how much work you decide to actually put in it, instead of into being angry at people in the comment section of a rereleased avatar.

MarcusHawk, I know how, and often do when making protogen models since they only have a photoshop file not .SPP. It's just a lot nicer to have something pre-set up to work with and build upon, and often people just want to make simple edits like changing the color of a specific patch of fur or something, so the SPP is nice to have for that too. I understand your point and to a degree it is valid, but it's an extremely basic courtesy to include that file, and most of the time when asked to the uploader is happy to upload a link in the comments or just update the page.

Anhaner, I do need the substance painter file for FULLY CUSTOM TEXTURES, you dont seem to understand how things work, its really not that hard to just send the substance painter files at least. the texture "Editing" in unity is not making a whole texture by scratch, you cant een add anything to it, your heavily limited by what a shader can do with the textures that come with the avatar.
