I will say, for everyone struggling to rename the unity file to get rid of the .gz part, i have found great success renaming the files on my phone. I download all models on my phone because i run off of a hotspot for my laptop, so i save hotspot data for uploading and playing. But i go into my files on my phone, tap and hold on the file, click rename, and then get rid of the .gz, and then it works as a unity file when on my laptop. I will say, I'm doing this on an android. Idk if iphone can do that. Never had one. But it is a very easy way to rename a file if you for whatever reason can't figure it out on winrar (though, its also not that hard to do it with winrar. I'm sure a quick Google search could give you many instruction guides on how to rename a file on winrar)

For those struggling with renaming the .gz file:
-Open the .gz file in WinRar/Zip (whichever you use)
-Press the Arrow to back out of the archtemp files, and it will take you to the folder holding your current files.
-Click on the unity file so you can edit its name, and just get rid of the .gz at the end of the file name.

PapaGrumpyz, remove the .gz end of the unityfile.
Its the problem if you download Unitypackage files (mostly if you download all together in a zip) from Google drive that it adds the gz to the end.
