For the mesh hiding issue, I recommend trying to play with shrinking bones! Making toggles to shrink certain ones to each clothing could work, it doesn't always work but maybe!

SlavaUkraini420, the way the clothes' swaping works is based on texture hiding. basically, it's all one material and when you toggle x clothing, it (the avatar) changes where the material pulls from on the texture. basically, for the clothes to work properly via quest, youll have to make new blendshapes for the clothing parts. then youll have to make the materials. there isnt much else you can do outside making materials for each of the clothings and forcing the game to material swap to each. at that point it (might) work. however, youll have to do the same to the pc side. otherwise, it wont work on both ends.

NobodyWhoMatters, Most likely experimentation, probably got it from Conrad as well, but god damn is it annoying to work with. I'm not the best at blender work, so the best bet would be waiting for someone else who knows way more than me to do it, and then letting my friend know about it, but he already got told about the poiyomi stuff so he knew not to go ahead and buy it. Kinda sucks major that if SpaceTato takes commissions, that you'd have to pay them twice just to get the poiyomi stuff removed so you can get it quest compatible. :/

Ali Fox S., I am allowed to complain that an avatar creator is lazy when it's PAID for assets. I downloaded the model to attempt to see if it COULD be quest converted for a friend who wanted to buy it since they're a questie. The previous models this creator made were incredibly easy to quest convert and we've both bought assets from them before because of that. Spacetato isn't going to suddenly change how the toggles on this avatar work just because I bought them, but I WOULD have bought an avatar I can only half use, and that my friend can't use at all.

Anyone is allowed to complain, if you have a problem with it, stay off VRModels and only stick to their social medias. I used to be a paying customer, and I trial them via the leaked files to make sure everything works. If SpaceTato decides they want to start being lazy like Conrad I'm no longer buying from them ever again, which sucks because I actually like the Yveltal I bought from them, and my friend likes the previous Warframe models he's bought.

ClaptasticFrag, you are getting free files for a paid model, you don't get to complain about artists being "lazy" if you don't pay. And if it's a big problem for you then play on pc, unless you can't then well, again you don't get to complain. Not to be rude tho but think about it 😸

Why are creators getting lazier and lazier? Why are the clothes all one singular mesh that use poiyomi exclusively to change outfits? You can't quest convert that at all unless you re do all of the toggles and separate the meshes, or set up blendshapes, in Blender. SpaceTato used to do it the NORMAL way why change it for Valkyr??
