How many Free For Life's is lily gonna give out, Like I get needing money but if your only income is VRCHAT AVATARS maybe she should think of gettin an actual job? Maybe I'm to hateful of a person but like if you need the money that bad a actual job would give you that income needed for the bills :/ but idk man, just me?

I feel so bad for anyone who pays for Lividlily avatars, they NEVER get release working and they always look so much worse in game. Luckily they get leaked pretty quickly so she cant pull cash from too many victims

༒SourLemLem༒, Oh I wasn't disagreeing with you by the way. I was just suggesting something you could do if you wanted to. I agree with you, I think Livid Lily has lost the balance between quality and quantity as of late, given that her earlier avatars look far more detailed and polished.

༒SourLemLem༒, as a person who has worked on models and textures, I can understand that a lot depends on the pixel map and even a not very high-quality texture will look good with proper reflection and shaders, for example, there are games where similar texture curves are improved by reflections and shaders (Body cam is proof of this, everything is tied to lighting and reflection more than on textures, which makes it look good, when in fact the textures there are not particularly high-quality)

Avtor1tet, I don't think your understanding.. I'm not talking about the normal maps? I'm talking about Every MATERIAL- the clothing the skin the hair, all of it as a whole just looks unfinished- flat and lazy to me. and its not JUST this model its all of her recent ones that feel this way.. I LOVED, bought and still use some of her old models because i'm disappointed in the way these ones look material wise..

༒SourLemLem༒, Well, $35 is not that much for a model like this, many sell worse models for more than $50, and it's easy to make a better normal map if someone doesn't like it, because you get full access to the model, you can even edit it to 0. I could do it, but I like it anyway, and it won't be easy to see it in BP because the difference on PC and on vr will be huge in image quality.

voidos, Avtor1tet, My whole issue is that I shouldn't have too, she sells these for 35$ usd each just for ME to have to go though and make all the materials LOOK finished -(my opinion) - when they probably should have a more finished look to begin with... Does that make sense?

༒SourLemLem༒, You can use the vtfeditor program to create a normal map from a texture or increase the resolution and then convert it to png format. For me, the big problem with this avatar is its mouth, and in anime style, only the face changes and does not merge with the body.

༒SourLemLem༒, You can always make them a bit more detailed by upping the intensity of the normal map, unless they don't have one, then you'd have to source your own. I get what you mean though.
