Taria shares some traits with a Tardigrade —
the ‘water bear’, which are tiny, resilient invertebrates known for their ability to survive anything.

The rest of her is a thick, gelatinous slime which intakes and dissolves small animals for nutrients, and a stolen partial skeleton she uses to help her more comfortably stay upright.
