fooled around with it and i got the eyes fixed here's the texture and you'll have to rotate the eyes a lil for them to line up with the sockets <3

tanezumi, Respect you trying to fix the FBX in Blender, but it's missing some of the materials (Visor, Lens, Blush, Eyes)

If you were able to figure these out, then it would possibly work in Unity. For some reason the eyes become messed up when I start testing in there.

Seishin Kitsune, when importing to blender you have to click on the armature dropdown menu on the right side of the import screen and the click automatic bone orientation. and then when exporting make sure that fbx all is on along with turning off baked animations and leaf bones. hope this helps

The-Fox-Furie, late reply, but when you have textures that are pink...go into "all material" on the left side. once youve done that, click on the pink textures and go to "inspector" on the right side, click the drop down on the shader, click poiomi, and pick one you think looks best. I normally go with 7.1 and then toon lit. after you do that, it will be normal colors!

So, after I tried to follow the instructions the comments left and I was still lost with the lensmat being grayed out, i found that the novabeast doesnt use poi. It uses lilToon 1.5.0 or above. https://lilxyzw.github.io/lilToon/#/ Is the download link that's on the gumroad for the Novabeast. Just go to the site and click on this

It'll install into your creator companion, then when you create the project, add the shader into the project before launching it. It should look like this. (It may be at the very bottom, just click the + to add it.

Then open the project, insert the novabeast, and voila! :3

TiavXoom, On the quest version of the avatar there is a different texture over the eyes (for pc it is clear and just makes the eyes shiny) but on quest it greys it out. to fix this, you navigate to the texture )in this avatar's case it should be called "LensMat". Then at the top of the material properties, there should be a dropdown menu in which you should be able to click/Navigate to Vrchat, then mobile, then particles, then additive. Next you should want to take a completely black image/texture and place it into the box, like so

this is what i found fixes this issue :D

When importing the FBX make sure you enable "Force Connect Children" and/or "Automatic Bone Orientation" in the "Armature" sub category. This fixes the bone orientations but keep in mind when re-exporting as FBX you might have to swap the X and Y rotation priorities to match the original model, otherwise all animations for tail, ears and so on are broken. If you do replace it without doing this and intend to fix them, make sure you re-create the humanoid skeleton.

Idk why there is no .blend file but somehow the creator must have made this model. Possibly outside of Blender, that would be a big bummer considering i know no way to keep quads intact, so the creator has to go the insane extra mile of de-triangulating the entire model (Blender can do that via feature) and then hand-fix millions of leftovers and/or wrong quads. It's what i've been doing so far.

Venkyrius, If you put the avi into unity and then go to Blender, you can import the fbx by going into the unity project folder > assets > Novabeast > FBX

If you can't find the unity project and you use VCC you can go to the main project menu, hit the 3 dots, click "open project folder"
