every time I try to download something that uses a vrmodels.store link as the download link, I get an error 403/Forbidden and the link tries to download an html link to the website instead of the wanted file. Any fixes? I am on brave browser and I tried disabling all my adblocks and shields

VRModels, I honestly did not know that the upload tags had to be manually corrected. I apologize for any extra work this caused. I’ll make sure to stick to the normal tags from now on.

And I think it would be nice to have some kind of “update model” feature available somewhere, but I haven’t really thought too deeply about the exact implementation. I just thought it would be a cool and helpful feature so other people don’t get confused the way I did. If this is something you ever decide to implement, please feel free to design it in whatever way you think fits best there’s no need to follow my idea specifically. It’s entirely up to you.

K3NZI_E, There is a word filter for tags. If a word is in the filter, you will not be able to write it. We add to this filter over time. After all, we don't see the point in duplicating requests for which there are checkboxes. The same applies to some requests with spaces (not yet added to the filter). Such as Cat Girl --> Cat, VRCFT, etc. The moderators are already exhausted and complaining that they have to manually correct the upload tags.

K3NZI_E, Regarding updates for models, you have not described what this functionality should look like. How do you envision it?

NomNom, I know I just like to add the tags as well to describe the avi a bit better. Obviously it doesn’t matter, but it was a bug I saw and thought I’d say something. no need to be rude but just saying I get that you might not have been trying to be mean, but the emoji thing was a bit unnecessary in my opinion.

For some reason, if I put the "Face Tracking" tag, it clears any other tags I had before that, and it doesn’t let me add it. But if I put it all lowercase it works.

All you need to do is upload the model and specify the new version in the ‘Model file version *’ field. If this is too difficult, please suggest an update feature and we will consider implementing it.

Does anyone know how to update a model on this website? I’ve been trying to update avatars that I’ve uploaded by reuploading them, and it’s worked before, but recently it keeps telling me that the model is already on the website. I was wondering if there’s another way to update it. If so, please let me know.

I just started getting an HTTP error and now I have to compress my images to a certain number of KB for them to upload without failing. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it, so I don’t have to compress and lower the quality every time? I used to upload MB sized images just fine so I’m not sure why it suddenly started doing this.

As we can see, the model is working correctly. A gonso key is required for this model to work. You apparently do not have one.
If you do not have a key, you can remove the gonso licence yourself (but this requires knowledge of C++ to write a single line in the gonso .dll file).

Well that can't be right, cause etoil is one I didn't download until right this second. I even checked my downloads history as well as any place it could have downloaded it to and it did not come up anywhere, and quick update i just did my daily 10 for today and again it capped out at 6 and all the file records i recieved from said downloads also only count 6

If your account will be -100% = full automatic blocking of your account. B - % is made on purpose so that people are not immediately blocked for their mistakes. (you can say a kind of punishment system)
In - percent are given for uploading files with viruses, ripped models and so on.

Let's look specifically at your option to reduce the % in -.

You overflow already public models from other resources to ours and do not even look at what you overflow (upload). You have repeatedly uploaded to us ripped models, as well as models with viruses. The moderator informs you about it every time and minus you % for that. Look and check what you upload to us.

deepabyss, You don't seem to understand. If we allow users to edit their uploads - then we will not track what they edited after moderation. Maybe they'll add a link to viruses or something. Think 10 times before offering something.

VRModels, i dont mean just the link part i meant an edit button for the things you upload to this site. so if you accidently put in wrong info you can just quickly edit it and fix any mistakes you put. not anyone being able to, only the publisher

deepabyss, It's up to the moderators to remove and fix links that don't work. I don't know what you have working there - your links to models don't work, that's why the models went to moderation.
Giving users the right to change model links is the stupidest idea ever.

VRModels, rechecked the links and they are working correctly. is there a way for me to redo the upload or edit section to make sure ive set the correct links? ive never had this happen before nor have never seen these x% before. so im not sure how to fix these issues

deepabyss, Good afternoon. There are no errors here. You originally had x% for the models. They were sent back to moderation - because the links to these models stopped working. Until they are not uploaded by moderators, they will be on moderation.

Rewards are earned for being active. I don't think there's much more to know. It's all based on rankings.

We don't know what the VRCmodels account is or why you should follow it.

There's no point in extra chats, as they'll only have a couple of posts in them. It's no use.
