    HarukaChanUwu, thank you so much, I spent an hour trying to make it work with just vrcFury and then I got annoyed and checked if there are any instructions, then I found your comment and found out I needed modular avatar and was able to set it up in a couple of minutes

    cannon9009, If you opened up the link to the page where its sold you'd see a rapier goes to the hip.
    Since you dont even know where a Rapier is located at, here is your step by step explanation.


    Import Modular Avatar
    Import the package
    Drag and drop the World Transform + shader Preset on ur Avatar
    Adjust the Scale of the prefab to roughly match your Avatar.
    You need to Adjust the "Melt's Weaponry" part where the Rapier is Located btw just FYI, to go on your Hip, if not already on there.
    You then move the "hand targets" to your hand so they fit properly.
    if the circles are on your hand, then they fit FYI.
    After that you press Upload in vrcSDK.
    for it to be grabbed you need to UNLOCK Gestures, otherwise you can grab however you want and nothing will ever happen.


    It really isn't deep if you know what you're doing.

    Kryten Le crétin, you usually adjust items within unity with the arrows and or the transform component located at every object in the Hierarchy - see my other comment

    HarukaChanUwu, That doesn't exactly help. Where exactly on the avatar is the rapier meant to go? The hips, or the hands? This is why specific instructions are important for prefabs.

    I'm assuming you can tilt the sword in the dominant hand just a tad to give it a more proper grip? This is coming from a vrc avi creator who's been getting into HEMA, lol

    skyler18, import Modular System into Unity, Drag and drop the world constraint onto your avatar and after that the sword prefab. adjust it to your avatar and upload. it aint that deep
