VRModels, Take advice from this. Reducing texture size won't help you much with this avatar. It is more of an overlapping polygon issue in blender, since their are 2 sets, One for both variants ( Furry x Human ). I had to completely remove the furry version and re-do everything for the human variant including all the polygons. It is not something you guys can simply do in Unity or using a quest converter.My messages are flooded sorry if I haven't sent you out the package. Have been quite busy irl. I'll get to as many of you as possible! <3

Rekom, its for the Threevee face tracking, the v1.1 Threevee face tracking doesnt work unless you download the newest v1.1 from the website, i bought the face tracking for it and went into the threevee discord for help and the only is to go to the website and download the newest v1.1, so im assuming there was a silent patch

This is talking about quest optimizing, not just uploading it.
I've already done much of what you mentioned but there's still something left on the model that keeps it at 14 MB when the max you can have is 10mb on the Quest.

I've also removed many of the items I am personally not interested in, fursuit, wings, accessories, boots, etc

But you're just straight up wrong on the last thing you mentioned, reducing size of textures most certainly is a form of optimization, lmfao

Also, why is it marked as a bot when it's clearly a person that's commenting with that account?

Haruda, Sorry of course, but if you were good with models - you would have uploaded. You can upload any model. Learn blender and unity. After all, if we really talk about optimization - it is not a reduction in texture size. It's about reworking the model. Shove in blender cut unnecessary polygons and so on... and be sure to make an atlas. But not how to reduce the size of the texture in Unity. Reducing the size of the texture in Unity is not optimizing the model.

I'm pretty well versed with quest optimizing unoptimized PC models, but this one has something weird going for it, there's something on it somewhere that is boosting the file size quite a bit.

What was the thing you removed that ended up getting you over that hurdle?
All my textures are also 512 now, never encountered this before.

I feel as though there's a hidden 2k-4k texture somewhere but I've had no luck with finding it
