Xanther, Supposedly fixed some clipping issues, bunch of logic fixes, material fixes e.g. world lighting/shading now affects the body and the Ex prefab actually using the Ex mats, performance improvements and some other miscellaneous stuff like changes to the staff and whatnot.

I take models from here almost every day. Never once have I been banned from uploading models. What I have been temp ban for is making avatar (which were nsfw oopise forgor) public. Got in the wrong hands then I got popped. Like you don't get banned for uploading avatar and assets.

I remember this Godfall dude kept threatening kids with lawsuits that had downlaoded his models back in the day.

His models are like CoD, same thing year after year but with a slightly different look to it.

I feel like the Yurei or the Valkyrie was peak and anything that came after has just been mid.

vrchat does not care what you do with avatars so long as they are private. hence why ripped avatars were so big of an issue. vrchat only does anything if a avatar is listed public.

Sapphire Windpaw, Vrchat doesn't bar like for models at all. The maximum they can do is to remove the model from your account (block it). But you can always reupload it...

kromedrone, Because years ago godfall brought things that were not possible before, so he gained a lot of popularity with his knowledge and avatar with things that no other had. And everything he does is from scratch, so he started to be greatly admired and known because of that.
His avatars have always been very beautiful, but magician is horrible, just a bunch of stuff he recycled from his other avatars, probably just thinking about money

Can someone please explain to me why Godfall avatars are so popular? Every single one of them is the same base with minor alterations and more clothing options or props. Dude hasnt updates his gesture pack in what feels like over a year and a half.
If you buy any of them, you functionally have all of them. Half the assets arent their so its just a matter of getting those assets and stapling it on.

anon-demon-butler, i agree and having actually bought the avi you can communicate dirrectly with the creator and their community if you need help or even want to just show off edits, can only share it with close friends if you got it here.

BlackRoseHeart, not only is this laughably not real, if it was this would not be godfalls first avatar to have it, almost every avatar creator would have them on their avi to prevent sites like this from existing. and it would be something you can remove from your avi in unity. ive uploaded damn near 200 avis from this website as long as your smart about it and keep your mouth shut your fine.

Sapphire Windpaw, Do you care about their server as much as they do? You can always shut your favourite GodFall up. Just by telling his communication history. I mean, 2 years ago he had a very good conversation on discord. With his mates sitting there listening to the whole thing. Where he said that he is not against placing his models on this site, provided that it will be indicated that he allegedly created this model. He also admitted that he creates his own models from other people's credits. No one pulled his tongue. But after a year of communication with him - he began to turn on the back and say that he is against all this. If he is not responsible for his words - there is no point in thinking about him in any way. That's your GodFall story. Just forget about him, clinging to some discord server, there is no point.

the avatar itself is against tos. in the rare chance you run into godfall or a mod in their server, they may ask you to verify your purchase. worst case you get blacklisted and shamed

BlackRoseHeart, I highly doubt it foxipaws models have a license key too. And the only way they can figure out you have it is if you publish it as public with the same name and picture accidentally bump into the creator in vrchat or go into their server without a license key and ask for help (don't be this stupid) A license key is like a receipt.

BlackRoseHeart, Any proof of this? Also, I highly doubt VRChat staff care about people sharing Unity packages around. It's been done for years and they've never once done anything about it from what I've seen. Unless you're straight-up ripping models in-game and re-uploading them, you should be fine.

Does this even do anything cool? like most models i see that are expensive pre-sets are like loaded with nifty features like, i dunno. picking up boulders from the ground and chucking them? detailed guns etc. this just looks like its a "base" and their models are reused, if it comes with nothing i aint gonna bother with it

Fenix_Su, i feel the same, Godfall and Nikkie are the two creators where like they're putting out one model a year and the quality and care is insane, 50 bucks a couple times a year feels like a fair price to support the community, i mean the game is free at the end of the day and art is expensive!! I totally get not buying them i mean i dont buy 90% of the models i use, but it feels like a special event when Godfall or Nikkie drop one and you save up for it and spend ages editing, its like spending money on any hobby like gundam or lego, for some its unity models <33

I will only get a godfall if I win it in their server. Until they start changing the faces or doing something different: nothing is different about their avatars. I have a friend that shows up wearing any of the females, and I notice tha changes and I ask them why.

opters, it ain't even 50$, people buy it for the sake of supporting godfall. yeah its almost copy and paste but there are minor changes that are done based off of the constant request from supporters in the community. people work with what they see and know what works. this was like a 9 month thing godfall's team did work on it and so credit is due only out of respect, people wait for or purchase these avatars. i paid for it knowing it would be leaked onto here, because honestly a little support never hurts^^. though this is just to say what im thinking cause im passionate, not really argue (>_>). anyways have a nice day and enjoy the avi, hope to see some fun and creative stuff from the communnity!!!!
