Does anyone know where to find Edits of existing avatars? I'm trying to find some Rusk edits due to them being nuked from VRChat but can't find any.

I'm gonna go on a random guess to say the only way to find specific avatars is to go on the 'Looking For' forum and scrolling along? Because otherwise, idk how else to find specific avatars, let alone find others willing to reach out to me to give options on what they feel I'm looking for.

Hi guys, does anyone know how to set up avatars that weigh a 100-200 kilobytes?

There are no problems with huge avatars from archives, but these lightweight ones don't decompile in Unity, even though people in the comments say "the avatar is fine, it works."

Sometimes there are also zip-formatted avatars, but no archiver can open them.

Changing the file extension doesn't help either :/

Hdog255, I know this is late but here's the basics for anyone who wants to start uploading
you're going to need to download unity 2022.3.22f1, VRC creator companion (VCC), VRC Fury, most likely poi or liltoon (these are shaders that are on site)
Imo ALCOM is very helpful as you don't need to add VCC as its already in the file, when you open up a project on alcom/unity it will be a blank slate; add the above requirements before importing/drag dropping the avatar package into the asset file, open the avatar file and locate the scene asset (looks like at little box) click that and then click open, if the creator didn't add a scene asset box then find the prefab asset of the full avatar and drag and drop it to the middle and fix the positions to 0, click the avatar and make sure there is no blueprint ID, after that log into your vrc account, name and put an image of your choosing (PNG only), check if there's any auto fixes you need to click before uploading, after that click the upload button and wait. After that you should be good quest is basically the same w/o the shaders.
I'm no unity expert these are just the basics. There's probably YT tutorials up on how to do this too and I suggest looking at them if this is not a good explanation for you.

Gonna sound paranoid but I think some creators have been email scraping here or similar places, figured such due to recently getting banned from some shops on payhip suddenly and loosing access to some things despite never sharing such. I really have a disdain for so many creators on VRChat. They are so petty and cruel, even when you make one mistake. Blacklists are also by far the most stupid thing ever created. if most of my avatars weren't gonso locked I would have donate like 2 pages worth.
