There's no mistake.
You block users, or they block you. But at the same time they wrote you a message and blocked you. Naturally, you will not have this message, but you will have an indicator of it.
Go to the settings in your private messages and click ‘Clear all history’ and your problem will be solved.

VRModels, I mean it's about 2am at the time of writing this, but lemme jump back to the point. At the multiple times through the day, I tried to download one item. Every time it has been exclusively kilobytes of data downloaded, rather than normal speeds. With an estimated time of up to five hours to complete the download for a 400+mb file. It has not been able to complete a single download in a timely manner. Not through a VPN, not through normal means. And I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. Is the server under some sort of heavy load or something that is preventing the downloads from functioning normally? Or is it being throttled by an external source?

Same here. Download speeds in the KB/s on everything. I've completely cleared my browser since I saw that could be an issue. I have 500MB/s Wi-Fi which is plenty fast enough. As I am having the same issue that cat_who_loves_pie had...or most likely is still having. Except the download speeds are down to as high as 40 KB/s, and as low as 20 KB/s. Downloading from every other site is perfectly fine. Yet to confirm this is an issue with this site specifically, it's retroactively affected items I have previously downloaded from here.

Your question has nothing to do with site errors. The site has no speed limits for downloading. If you have any limitations, please contact your ISP and remote traffic servers (CDN). After all, we all live in different countries and use different servers for transmission.
We recommend that you use Multipath technology, data packets are sent simultaneously via different routes. If one route becomes unstable, the others will keep the connection running continuously, ensuring delivery.
