when you put a title for the avatar you're uploading, you can click "Is there such a model on the site?" (green text on the right)
type in the booth avatar you're uploading, if its already uploaded, it will tell you. always try searching them by their official japanese names if nothing appears for their english name. :) hope this helps.

I actually got a question. I have some booth avatars I want to upload, but I'm not 100% sure if they've already been uploaded since I don't have access to the private area. Is there any way for me to check if they've already been uploaded or not?

in my experience uploads haven't taken longer than ~2 days to process, and you can see your uploads on your profile

i am also having issues with downloading things. when it finishes downloading it fails and says "Network issue" this happens both when i use vpn and no vpn

to be fair when i try to download something it takes forever like downloading a 100mb avatar use to take a minute or even a few seconds but now its taking nearly 20 to 30 minutes and it even sometimes fale

It also could be that too many people are trying to download models and the server isn't able to hold up with the demand.

But I don't know for sure until VRModels takes a look at that.

Can you write out a couple dozen more people, are you there? If not.
Then what's the point of discussing? Activity is not just about comments.
We have over 50+ people with unlimited Pro account time. And you almost never see them in the community or in the comments. After all, activity isn't just about comments. Even complaining about broken links is activity, too. We won't describe everything that counts as activity. ))

That is true! But it seems like in this case they're just using "TDA models" as a blanket term for any models from gumroad/discord/payhip etc. I may be wrong though, but that's how it seems with the suggestion of removing everything but the booth/private section.

what if a creator creates their own assets? like the booth creators? also the model creation has shifted - most creators doesnt use tda assets anymore and create their own / buy the licenses for them.

I don't really see the need to remove the TDA models from this site. The creators usually just shove free assets onto a premade base and charge people $40 for it, so by having it free on this site it means people don't have to pay for their stupid prices for the avatar they lazily shoved together. It's better to have them here than have people paying for assets the seller didn't even make.

im wondering the same thing. if the only section is the private section then will the site just die? the community is great and all, yeah. but id likely leave the site if there's nothing here outside private stuff. i like the public aspect of it.

So for the vote, if TDA models were to be removed would the private section become public? Or would it still be the same limited access? It feels like there would not be enough private models for people to consistently get Pro every month without being able to upload Gumroad avatars

Hey! I have a question. So i uploaded 8 Items and 7 of these were Clothing. So clothing around worth 15$. How does the calculation work that i only got 5% for each clothing even though the possibility of the percentage could be between 5% to 10%?

It might take a little bit of time/patient before everything that you upload is registered. Keep an eye out for the progress bar on your own profile to see when you will obtain Pro.

It's so crazy when I look at avatars for sale sometimes, it feels like the most expensive avatars are the ones of generic, overused assets thrown on bases while the cheaper well-priced avatars are completely modeled from scratch. People don't know the value of their work, I won't buy a $25 or more avatar that was made by playing dress up in blender, but any day I'll buy something that people put real creativity and hard work into
