Post the full error screenshot, but if you read sometimes there's an error with poiyomi, when that happens you go into scrips and delete the editor that fixes it most of the time

Sometimes a file is not imported correctly, mainly the shaders or SDK. Try deleting and importing them again, also make sure you have the right shaders version

no matter what avatar i try my unity keeps crashing whenever i upload, i thought it was my shaders so i downloaded the lastest ones and it still happens anyone know whats happening? btw never had this issue till recently i even uploaded in unity 2019 one other time before and it worked perfectly plz help :c

alot of the times you need to move the avatar prefab (usually says the avatar name) into the directory (aka the bar on the left in unity) hope that helps if u need more help feel free to dm me

it seems my avatar, when I converted to the 2019 unity, it broke something and I had tried to make a new project entirely, which didn't fix it, and making it in 2018 still made it have errors. is it the avatar or unity?

> How To Install Avatars
- Install the latest Unity version Unity 2019.4.29f1.
- Get the VRChat SDK2 / SDK3 – Avatar type.
- Install Shaders – Poiyomi,
Arktoon
etc – Avatar type.
- Install Dynamic Bones.
- Find an avatar you want to use.
- Login into VRChat SDK inside Unity using your VRChat account (same as ingame).
- Open .unitypackage file in Unity ~ Your avatar.
- Select Unity Scene if provided in package or Drag AVATAR prefab under Hierarchy.
- Open Build Control Panel under VRChat SDK.
- Click Build & Publish.
- Fill in avatar information & Click Upload.
- Launch VRChat and see your new Avatar!

hello guys, this is my first time attempting this kind of software and was following a youtube video on the process, but when I upload the avatar to unity I do not see an avatar model appear, just a crapload of files upload into unity. Did I do something wrong with the download or are there more steps to this than I initially thought?

iirc a new blueprint ID is made every time you publish since you're uploading a new separate avatar.

Does anyone know why the blueprint ID keeps reattaching even though I detached it before clicking publish? This started happening recently for most of the avatars I tried to publish, and I've tried reinstalling Unity, SDKs

.gz
you can just drag those files into unity and click Assets on the toolbar then click export package.

Update: I managed to resolve the issue by uninstalling the SDK and reinstalling the latest one, still wondering what caused it tho

Did anyone have this issue before with stock vrchat sdk, no matter what i name my avatar its getting renamed to random garbage? the second model in the same project works just fine, only this one is a issue

I cant seem to get the Empusa file to upload, its having trouble with the actual upload saying "file not found." It makes a prefab then places it in assets then error. Tried manually placing it, to no avail.

, I said virtually the same thing to the person below me but sometimes deleting the Thry editor from poiyomi helps me- I'm not sure why it does but it fixes it some of the time lol. Other than that making a new project or redownloading your scripts can help

Hey,

1 3.0 sdk
2 pyomi toon shader
3 dynamic bones

5 mine unity package
this error occurs so many times on many avatars but i cant fix it,
I tried using another sdk and tried reimporting a few packages and it still wont work
i would be very thankfull if someone could tell me how to fix that problem

, Sometimes that can happen with certain scripts- I find deleting the Thry editor (if you’re using Poiyomi) sometimes helps. If not try making a fresh project or redownloading shaders or the SDK

Hello! I'm having problems with some Avi's in Unity. A lot of them have the error "[…]prefab.unity3d" - It says that the prefab is missing which makes no sense to me bc there IS a prefab in the package. Does someone know how to fix it? (I'm a super unity newbie - be kind x.x)

hey!! idk if you still needed to know how to remove your blueprint but its really easy- click on the main avatar in your hierarchy (where all the scene objects are listed, such as the camera, light, etc) and if you scroll down on the right side menu (where the scripts and vrc descriptor are) there should be a little box with a blueprint ID. Hit detach and youre done!
