trying to put a tattoo set on an avi. theyre the same made sure theyre the same body type or whatever it means and thats as far as im able to get. uploaded and now im lost where to put the tattoos

on the silas and sweets avatar there should be gogoloco on it but its not in the vrchat menu but just in the unity toggles , do i have to somehow turn it on? im not sure if the other couple avatar has it too tho

Find videos about how to do animations, you will more than likely not find something specifically to what you're trying to do but you should still learn about how to use the animation graph. You may even be able to get away with applying what a video is doing to what you're trying to do. A lot of the animation process is the same for most things, I will not be going on with this conversation further. I will not be a full step by step on how to make avatars.
Idk much about Quest but I'd also assume you're wanting this particle system for Quest. Idk if particles are even possible on Quest... Sorry you're having problems and best of luck.

You're NOT trying to use
DPS
on a Quest upload...
and/or
The models came with
DPS
and you didn't add onto it later...
Then it's probably just broken all together and the creator messed something up or an update. If all that you've tried hasn't worked I can attempt to work up a quick fix and send it to you at some point through dms.
Can you link me the models? or if they're on the site, give me the names?

im not 100% known with unity and this was all i could find , the gogoloco is not in the menu in vrchat but its supposed to be included in the avatar but looks like its in the unity package
could be the version of poiyomi i use be the problem for the
dps
? im not really sure if theres something wrong in the pictures^^ oh and i tested the boy and girl versions

Now here's the problem that I'm having I can put the particles on the avatar perfectly fine but the only thing I'm having an issue with the animator is I cannot figure out how to do this problem because every time when I go in the game I literally don't know how to start the animation it doesn't show I click everything nothing happened that's my problem.

You are very limited for what you can and cannot do on Quest, this means you will have to let things go...
Quest limits are Quest limits, not really a workaround for some aspects. You will have to remove bones to meet those limits.

newer models shouldnt use Dynamic bones, if you converted it to physbones then you can remove the Dynamic bone scripts on the avatar

look harder I guess, adding premade particle systems is like adding almost anything else to an avatar in Unity. Adding the particles and making the animations/toggles, its all pretty much the same as adding a hat or something.
If you're making the particle systems, find a tutorial for making the particle systems on an avatar.

you can check the menus and the parameters for if the
DPS
system is actually on the avatars.
Menus-
could be under the following (NSFW,
DPS
, NAUGHTY, EXTRA....)
Parameters-
most have the avatar name then parameters
FX Layer-
click on the FX Layer in the inspector, click where it brings you in the asset folder, check the Animation and Animator tabs for

Looks like this specific avatar needs the VRLabs Marker folder removed since it is incomplete without the VRLabs Marker imported independently. Hope this helps.

Usually this is because you are missing some sort of dependency. Make sure your unity project has all the required items imported (Dynamic bones, poiyomi shaders, VRLabs Marker, etc. where applicable) before you import the model itself. You can also try right-clicking in blank space in the 'project' tab and selecting 'reimport all'. Sometimes this fixes it. PM me if you need anything.

Hey guys! everytime i want to upload any Avatar, it doesnt work. I think there are to many poly. But i can Test them in Vrchat. just cant upload them. If i click on Upload it says that it didnt work and that the blueprint is saved

i didnt touch anything on the control layer or locomotion but when i wanted to upload it i had to do an autofix because it told me something with the mood layers are too big , maybe ill try to upload it on a new project and see if it works^^ thank you!

did u perhaps change the locomotion or add a control layer to the Animator?

I'm still having asset bundle uploading problems,, I've used different poi shaders in different projects along with redownloading the sdk thinking it could've been that, I always detach blueprint id and the avatars don't have vrlabs on them. I looked through the
wiki
and tried doing things like deleting the pumkin editor folder and they still won't upload. The
wiki
did not at all solve the problem

Hii! ive tried uploading an avatar and i put everything in the order the description told me to (sdk poiyomi dynamic bones and
dps
) but when i upload it it doesnt have any crouch , sit animations and the
dps
is not there and the green circle menu only had the default vrchat animations on it : /

. I haven't used it in a while but there is an option to remove all empty scripts, doesn't hurt to give it a try.

its kind of a 50/50 honestly...
i dont know every script that will or wont be solvable, i can say theres a chance if u do remove the dread scripts that the avatar will break with it and leave u with nothing. Dont lose hope yet, id say most of the scripts that break on avatars now r fully recoverable. If ur trying to upload older avatars, best of luck, a lot r outdated.
ive never used or had to remove a dreadscript, like password lock, on an avatar. Id imagine its a similar way to how thirdparty script works. What all have u tried if anything yet?

, Usually if the clothes you get go on a specific avatar you can use AvatarTools to get the clothes on without many issues.

The first link is the one I use most of the time, but some models or clothes don't work with it, so I try the second one. Sometimes in the description under the clothes it will give you a specific tool to use but that first link works 90% of the time for me.
The only reason you would need to use blender for outfits is if they were not made for the specific model, but booth models have specific outfits that you absolutely can put on in Unity.

its possible to just add the clothing the the avatar within unity but that doesnt mean u should lol
u will run into all sorts of problems... you can however add things like bracelets, necklaces, etc...(almost any accessory)
clothing sets sold separately should be put on the characters using Blender or other 3d software like it.

Yes, its called physically moving your hand after grabbing it.
And for a serious answer, there is likely a way to set something like that up (presuming you want it to stay in place) with shapekeys and contact receivers
