For future projects, there isn't a point in running the test build as that won't allow you to get the full features as if it was in game. Even tho it may take longer, it is better to know what problems you run into in game.
If you don't see GoGo Loco anywhere in the package or on the avi, then check to see what locomotion it has already on it. Remove it or you can download the Locomotion Fix from Wetcat, I think, with a google search.

Don't believe so, I checked through a test build of the avatar and i don't see anything like that in the avatar's functionality, nor do I see it in the project.

You just need to use the same animations as the right hand for the left hand. They're located within the animator tab where you would adjust the parameters and layers within the FX/Gesture layer.
Double check that the hand layers are setup correctly as well sometimes creators get lazy and don't bothering doing the other hand or forget. Being on Index I can understand how its forgetful as it doesn't matter what the hand animation is.

Delete the Editor folder in GestureManager>Scripts>
EDITOR
If more errors persist then remove those folders as well, all the SDK updates broke a lot of tools so their editors are broken. The tools themselves should still work as accordingly.

Could use some help with the Lori avatar. As xSushi said in the comments, "when i walk the avi goes about 75% in the grounds when i move [...] when i stop it pops back up to where i should be." There is also no animation for walking or jumping or anything, which makes me believe the issue is with animations related to those, however I am unsure as to how to fix the knowledge I have.

this happened to me earlier. I had to use creator companion and upgrade the sdk or something because the script was in 2021. I also had to do with the other person said and manage with a better tv script, I had the pro one and it caused me to crash when I used the tv

One of my friends fixed his problem by putting his FX layer or Gesture layer within the Animator for the avatar.
It seems they screwed up again with the SDK and now there's many different problems and specific solutions for gestures. You can try that and see if they'll work for you. Other than that I can either try and make a fix, just need the avatar(s).

ive uploaded the couple package and it has some issues with the pp , the pp on the male cant be seen on the one having the avatar , the others see it but it has a white texture on it , on the female there are options to put the pp on the head and hips but it doesnt work and togglign to world works but when you walk the pp moves on its own could someone help me with it?

Send a picture of the full window, a prefab error can be a few different reasons.

I play on Index but with all the recent updates breaking gestures without a Gesture layer or an improper Gesture layer, I'd say it is better to have one. Plus it'll give you more customization and be less of an annoyance for more toggles and such on avis.
to answer your first question, as long as it's separate from the FX layer and on its own Gesture layer, it really doesn't matter what animation you choose to use.

Every time i try and upload an avatar i get the same error. FileNotFoundEexception prefab.unity3d does not exist. i follow the instruction correctly and it still does this and i don't know what to do.

Hand Open, Open, Open Hand... these could all be the open hand animation, in your case it is proxy hand open.

The Rose model uploaded just fine and everythings working for me.
When you go to Import the Rose package be sure to uncheck Poi Shaders,
DPS
, and SDK from the Import popup window. That is the only reason I can see why so many have issues with it.
For future reference, this should be a given... CHECK THE IMPORT WINDOW before you click the import button.

Spent the better half of 2 days trying to get the Rose stuff to work, looked up many possible solutions and tried them all from reopening the project (breaks the SDK completely), reimporting assets (didn't help).
Downloaded different versions of poi shaders even just to throw and see what stuck. "FileNotFoundException prefab.unity3d does not exist" is what I constantly get before and after deleting the script from Rose. And errors with script compiling. Nothing seems to be helping and I am fully stumped.
I never had an issue with a model as much as this one before so I'm wondering if it's something as small as shader and
dps
versions.

Do you still have errors for the hair and stuff?
Try Pumkins Avatar Tools instead of the other tool if you still need to.
If it is just the Prefab error, check for missing scripts and make sure the model isn't broken after all the error messes you've ran into. You may have to start a new project and start over with the process.

I also tried what the previous moderator recommended but when I tried to dl the missing script remover tool, it didn't do anything upon uploading it into the project like it showed on the persons twitter. No menu popped up at the top.

The menu is a bit of a mess and the options are a lot to deal with.
The package is a little messy but what I uploaded was the scene located within the Rose folder. I removed the missing script and everything was fine. Not sure what you guys did.

is another recent thing that broken like how Gestures on most avatars stopped working.
VRChat devs are trying to be more "Kid" friendly in the sense of being more strict towards NSFW things. Granted they're doing a very poor job but you may encounter problems especially since
DPS
hasn't been updated. For future you can try the TPS system with latest Poi Pro that should work the same as
DPS
.

Has anyone been able to upload the Kanna model successfully?
1. I tried unity 2019.4.30 like it mentioned with the latest SDK, and also 2019.4.31.
2. I put in the avatar pack (Also tried with and without dynamic bones pack)

GoLoco has a height slider that will make it float automatically, it's prob on by default cause it to float like what you're saying.

If you're familiar with how to make hand animations, then you need to add those hand animations to the FX layers and the Gesture layer. This was a problem caused by the previous SDK, make sure to check/get the latest SDK before making new projects.
Find videos of how to make/copy hand animations to the animations. Typing it all out can be a waste of time if you don't understand whats being said. Sorry, hope you can figure it out.

You sure you have facial gestures turned on in game?
Also are you using the latest SDK available? You may need to remove the masks from the hand layers in the FX animator

I've been trying for a week to fix stuck claw grip hands on an avatar. Closest I've gotten is when I tried replacing gesture and FX layers but that seems to break face reactions. Someone mentioned a simple checkbox to fix it in a comment but didn't elaborate. Any advice?

Also make sure the avatar has a descriptor on it. I've not made that mistake myself many times, but I have done it before and more than once is too many

Make sure you're not in the prefab adjustment window.
You're not in play mode.
You didn't break the SDK or installed a package that possibly broke the SDK either.
It could also just be Unity being Unity... Reloading the project could fix it.
