    Do you still have errors for the hair and stuff?
    Try Pumkins Avatar Tools instead of the other tool if you still need to.
    If it is just the Prefab error, check for missing scripts and make sure the model isn't broken after all the error messes you've ran into. You may have to start a new project and start over with the process.

    If you would like to change to physbones you can also do that with the Physbones converter tool.

    Hello I am trying to upload a Kanna avatar and I am receiving this error saying the prefab is missing.

    I also tried what the previous moderator recommended but when I tried to dl the missing script remover tool, it didn't do anything upon uploading it into the project like it showed on the persons twitter. No menu popped up at the top.

    DPS is another recent thing that broken like how Gestures on most avatars stopped working.
    VRChat devs are trying to be more "Kid" friendly in the sense of being more strict towards NSFW things. Granted they're doing a very poor job but you may encounter problems especially since DPS hasn't been updated. For future you can try the TPS system with latest Poi Pro that should work the same as DPS.

    Also you should use the Dynamic bones to Physbones converter tool, here.

    If you stil get missing script errors, use Pumkin Avatar Tools or the Missing Script Remover Tool

    Has anyone been able to upload the Kanna model successfully?
    1. I tried unity 2019.4.30 like it mentioned with the latest SDK, and also 2019.4.31.
    2. I put in the avatar pack (Also tried with and without dynamic bones pack)
    3. Tried to upload and it said missing prefab error.

    GoLoco has a height slider that will make it float automatically, it's prob on by default cause it to float like what you're saying.

    yeah every other avi is normal except these two

    mercii- has animations in place but they wont play in game? i removed the masks - still same issue. one thing she will move is her lip piercing but nothing else

    chisisi- had empty slots in the hand layers? i added some basic from another one, didnt work, i give up on that her

    You sure you have facial gestures turned on in game?
    Also are you using the latest SDK available? You may need to remove the masks from the hand layers in the FX animator

    I've been trying for a week to fix stuck claw grip hands on an avatar. Closest I've gotten is when I tried replacing gesture and FX layers but that seems to break face reactions. Someone mentioned a simple checkbox to fix it in a comment but didn't elaborate. Any advice?

    Also make sure the avatar has a descriptor on it. I've not made that mistake myself many times, but I have done it before and more than once is too many

    Make sure you're not in the prefab adjustment window.
    You're not in play mode.
    You didn't break the SDK or installed a package that possibly broke the SDK either.

    It could also just be Unity being Unity... Reloading the project could fix it.

    it could be a number of issues
    -No space on the drive where the project and Unity are
    -The file path names are long and/or special characters used
    -You didn't wait for the package to completely finish importing
    -The package was not fully downloaded (redownload)
    -The package is broken all together...

    Moonly,
    If deleting the light(s) didn't work,
    Does the model have DPS?
    Thry will use the DPS lights as regular lights if you click to fix it in the Thry popup window before uploading. To fix you will have a better chance making a new project or reimporting the model package, than trying to fix with Thry.

    That bright azz light that is shining on your model. Im not the pro. I just see that your model has a light on it. IDK where it came from because IDK what software you are using nor what steps you made in between your models original state and the current state. Only you know that.

    Having decompression issues. I have tried deleting projects to make space, no use. Tried redownloading the package, no luck. I'm not sure what's the next best thing to try.

    Yeah, that happened to me once. I took a model to blender and forgot to delete the light. So when I exported it, Unity rendered my model with that light. It looked very similar. . . LOL

    Thanks a bunch VD. I previously tried on both Blender and unity. Rendering Options>Cull, and Main>Back Face in Unity? I use vrchat shaders mostly. Im only trying to make is so my avatars are not invisible on the inside.

    Assuming you're using Poi
    "Cull Off" can be found under Rendering Options>Cull

    Alternatively, depending on what you're doing, you can use the "Back Face" option under Main>Back Face This allows you to use another texture for the opposite side.

    There should be an edit button where it says "View Position"

    Clicking the edit button will give you an XYZ axis to adjust. There's a small grey ball to indicate the location of your view as well. If you don't see it then you need to click Gizmo.

    Can anyone confirm the best way to change the inverse of an avatar from invisible to same as the body color? I have watched a few YT vids and read a few blog pages/tutorials. They all seem to say different things. 1. Double polys, flip normals then weld verts (seems too heavy). 2. Turn cull off ( I could not find this option in unity). 3. Turn of backface culling in blender. ( I tried this in blender but model still has invisible insides in game.)

    This is a problem that come up with the previous SDK, I believe they changed something with their script with caused newer avatars to have these common problems.

    You will need to add the hand animations to the face gestures. You can find videos about how to do this if you don't know how.

    Within the main screen that has your model, the top of that section has a tab called 'Gizmos' Click it to make sure you can see bones or the view control widget.
    (you do not need to click the drop down menu)

    Your gesture layer isn't setup properly, this was a problem that became very common after the last SDK.

    May have to add it to the Wiki soon
    To fix you can add the hand animations to the facial expressions in the FX Layer.
    Within the FX Layer, in the Animation tab you can find the facial expressions used and add hand animations keyframes. If you're struggling you can wait for a better explanation on the Wiki soon.

    My kikyo, imeris and selestia models hands don't work. Their hands move once to a slightly more closed position and that's it. The facial expressions work but the hands won't pose

    Drag the prefab to the hip bone. When adding things through Unity, all you have to do is drag whatever it is to the bone it's supposed to be connected to. You may have to do your animations again since it has changed location.

    Ok. Thank you. I know how to add the toggle and parameter. I am unsure about the animation part and attaching it to hip bone. Still looking for straight forward instructions online. I was in blender trying to add it to the hip bone of my model. Google is the first, second and third thing I do before asking
