if you are having trouble with blueprint saying something about the avi not being yours just detach the blue print and reupload again and that should fix your problem

Ive never had this issue before so I must have done something not paying attention and messed it up, but even with certain assets hidden in the hierarchy my avatar loads in with everything toggled on. Ive been trying to figure this one out for 2 days now and cant seem to find out whats making it do this. Has anyone ever had this issue and knows a possible fix?

SleeplessPrincess, did you update sdk? try downgrading or removing newer sdk-needed assets to see if works

LadyRainicorn, Min._.Katt, i believe u both have duplicated files or an outdated CC or package.

remember u do not need for import and SDK/VRC related content into the unity project if u made the project through creator companion.

Animations are created/working.
But for some reason only 2 activate and the other 2 leave the body default when toggled.

I downloaded the Lucy Heartfilia Model and put it in unity and then tried to put it in the thing as a Humanoid type avatar, did I do something wrong? I did not do anything but what was explained.

Thatonesuccubus, If you're doing it through Unity I don't think it'll work- from my knowledge if you want to add something like that, its a blender thing-

the_chef20, So, Saying you know how to use CC (creator companion) the SDK is something that you won't need to worry about that much cause its already in there, but otherwise It's just telling you what you need for the avi to work properly, you also have to add everything before you put the avi in.

Trying to do my first avatar upload, don't really know what I'm doing. The avi is STJARNA, and the instructions are NEWEST SDK > Poiyomi Toon (7.3.50.To.8.1.16.3) > DPS (REQUIRED FOR NSFW TO WORK) > STJARNA. However I don't really know what that means. Can someone walk me through this?

how do I upload quest version for avatars it says they work for quest but the sdk says that it wont show up

I downloaded the high thong panties, put them on my avi but it refuses to bend to the body.. its on hips but the thong straps are by my ribs, and if i bend or lean it just clips through.. Any help please? (using vrcfury)

DatWeedGood, read the comments on the model for a start.

but to sum it up, that is an older SDK 2.0 avatar, something no longer supported and is best to not bother trying to upload without a fixed package or if u understand unity well enough fix it urself. Youre going to need to make a project the old way and get ur hands on the 2.0
SDK but good luck uploading.

Sinpurr, you can get a decent metal using poi anyways, so if u really want a hue shift might as well use poi for that as well.

Dolletepoppy, some models just need to be taken into blender to really get the size down. find someone willing for help or learn blender urself and decimate the model/remove some options. quest is pretty limited as im sure ur aware so it may be some work.

Shatanka, did u download CC from the VRChat website? could be due to the time u downloaded it, windows registers programs throughout most its users so when a program isnt downloaded by many it considers it "dangerous" u can get around this by downloading it again or going through and forcing it to be allowed on ur pc.
do u have third party antivirus as well?

any idea y its saying the creator compaion is a virus and it wont load my sdk at all? i tried everything. even turn off anti virus. i load up a fresh project and the sdk wont load up. i click on it and nothing happens. this problem just came outta nowwhre. im so confused

Follow up question. I'm using doppelgangers metal shader for glasses on a model however I want to create a hue shifter that also hue shifts the glasses lenses as well as the rest of the materials on my model that use poiyomi shaders.

Is it possible to hue shift doppel's metallic shader? I only know how to hue shift with poiyomi.

download Pumkin Tools and use it to remove all missing scripts. Detach the Blueprint ID and try uploading once more.

This is a Unity issue with how it deals with prefabs, some avatars work but others dont because most creators use the FBX turned into a prefab by Unity and sell/share that instead of sharing the scene itself which will allow u to export and import as many times as u want. the only way to get around the invisible meshes is to completely redo the model from the new FBX u changed.

Can someone help me with a model mesh becoming invisible when replacing the original mesh on the body of an avatar with a newly modified mesh that was altered in blender.

I did some edits to the face in blender however when I export everything properly (via help videos from google) and import it into Unity, then replace the body mesh on the model to the new mesh I imported the entirety of the model in the scene becomes invisible and reverts back to normal when I put the unmodified mesh back on it.

Anyone know why that is? And can someone help me fix this?

These are all the console errors i get when uploading the rose avatar with the missing script, and when i delete the missing script:
no clues as to what the missing script is, deleting it doesnt fix it, im completely stuck on this one avatar i really like but cant for the life of me get to upload.

i uploaded this model a while back without error when others had some issues, im assuming a vrc update broke a script on the avatar or within the package as it is "older"
u can double check the console window after hitting clear and seeing whats possibly giving those errors before u upload.

however i keeep getting this script error shit when trying to build and publish, and deleting the seemiengly useless script doesnt fix the issue, it only makes it a different problem.

does anyone know a actual fix to the blueprint id reattaching itself when i start to upload the avatar. Even when detaching it just re attaches as soon as i start uploading and gives me the "error uploading blueprint". Alot of my avatars do this and very few actually get past this, is there a way to stop this?
